Aging process

The skin looks youthful due to its high content of water. The key molecule involved in skin moisture is hyaluronic acid (HA) that has unique capacity in retaining water. Daily external injury, in addition to the normal process of ageing, causes loss of moisture.

In your 30s?

Are you slowly but surely approaching the 30s? Or you embraced it fully and started observing changes?
What happens to our skin?

The amount of collagen and elastin produced by your body starts to slow down:

  • your skin feels drier than normal

  • you start seeing a few lines here and there.

  • adult acne is also becoming a reality.

  • some brown spots start to appear

  • fat points under your eyes are visible

Fillers

Fillers can be used for prevention as well as to treat lines you already have.

What causes wrinkles?

Our skin is our first barrier against the world.

Sun exposure and pollution affect its health and vibrancy.

Our lifestyle habits also affect the way our skin will look like in time.

How can botox help?

Wrinkles of the frown area, forehead and crow feet are the result of contraction of the underlying muscles.

After every facial movement, a crease will be visible in the skin.

Botox paralyzes the muscles in the area of injection so the wrinkles stop to form.

How does acid work?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. It is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are a great option for those looking to replace lost volume by plumping your wrinkles, folds, and sagging skin.

Brotox

Brotox is an urban dictionary approved word to describe the use of Botox in men.

A growing trend and on the rise by around 20% every year globally.

An increasing number of male clients are discretely coming to By Me Clinic for subtle treatments:

to soften the frown lines, or ‘grumpy lines’, the horizontal ‘worry or stress’ lines on the forehead, and

the ‘crow’s feet’ around the eyes.

Are you sweating?

A common use of Botox in men is for underarm sweating.

One treatment per season can decrease sweating by more than 90 percent!

Men also do it!

The number one thing we hear from male clients is they want to look ‘less stressed and grumpy’ – this is often key for men in their professional careers.

  • What filler should I use and what quantity?
During your consultation with me, we will decide together how much and what brand of filler will be used. We will also discuss the price at that time so that there are no surprises post treatment.
  • What products are available?
Approved dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid include JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, Teosyal® - by Teoxane, Stylage®, Croma®, Revanesse®. These are safe, effective injectable gels that restore volume to the skin, lifting and smoothing out wrinkles and folds.
  • Is the procedure painful? How long does it take?
Many treatments do not require anesthetics. However, some patient feels more comfortable with an anesthetic cream. After anesthesia we wait for a few minutes and then, considering the amount of filler injected it can take x minutes
  • Should I massage lips after fillers?
Please send me a message and I will explain you personally.
  • Is injecting hyaluronic acid into lips safe?
Hyaluronic acid is safe when injected appropriately. Rarely, hyaluronic acid may cause allergic reactions. Side effects are temporary and should only last a few days. They may include: Bleeding from the injection sites Swelling and bruising Redness and tenderness at the site of the injection. Call me immediately if you experience extreme swelling or develop a fever.
  • How long does the filler last in the lips?
The amount of lip filler needed in a procedure and the length of time it lasts depends on the individual. Hyaluronic Acid tends to last between four and six months. If you're thinner, you metabolise faster and the solution gets broken down quicker - so they don't last as long. Also, if you smoke, don't hydrate, don't use lip balm, go often to the gym, stress a lot - these are all factors that make the hyaluronic acid disappear faster.
  • What's a normal cycle for filling lips?
Result= Immediate Day 2-3 = swollen Use Anasthesic= Lidocain cream Day 3-4 = bruised, maybe lumpy Day 5-7 = getting used to them Week 1-2 = I love my LIPS After 2 weeks - you will miss the swollen lips, but remember to respect the anatomy! 👍🏼Lasts= Months 3-6
